Ingredients

  • ½ cup nutritional yeast
  • 1 tablespoon kala namak Himalayan black salt
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Combine all ingredients in a small mouth mason jar and screw on a blender base. *note: All small mouth mason jars will fit a standard blender. *Do not use this method to blend hot food!*If you don’t have the ability to do it, you can just share your mason jar or storage container vigorously until thoroughly combined. 
  2. Blend for 30 seconds or until it is a fine powder. Store in a jar.
  3. Add 1 to 2 teaspoons to your recipe.

Notes

  • Use the specific Himalayan black salt called kala namak to achieve the authentic egg-like flavor in this seasoning.
  • Store the powdered blend in an airtight container to maintain freshness and potency.
  • This seasoning works well in vegan recipes needing an egg flavor without eggs.
