Egg Roll Dipping Sauce

This sweet and salty sauce is perfect for dipping your egg rolls!

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon corn starch
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Whisk together all ingredients in a small saucepan. Turn heat to medium low and bring to a boil, stirring frequently.
  2. Remove from the heat immediatley after the sauce comes to a boil for a thin, glossy sauce. For a thicker sauce, let the sauce boil for 20 seconds or so.
  3. Serve with sausage egg rolls.

Notes

  • We like this sauce to be somewhat thin and drippy, but you can thicken it to the consistency you prefer just by boiling it for longer.
