Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon corn starch
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
- Whisk together all ingredients in a small saucepan. Turn heat to medium low and bring to a boil, stirring frequently.
- Remove from the heat immediatley after the sauce comes to a boil for a thin, glossy sauce. For a thicker sauce, let the sauce boil for 20 seconds or so.
- Serve with sausage egg rolls.
Cup of Yum
Notes
- We like this sauce to be somewhat thin and drippy, but you can thicken it to the consistency you prefer just by boiling it for longer.
