Eggnog Syrup Recipe

Doesn't eggnog syrup feel like it should be one of Elf's main food groups? This sweet and spiced syrup is the perfect holiday drizzle over pancakes, french toast, or add some to your morning coffee!

Ingredients

  • ¾ ¾ cup eggnog
  • ¾ ¾ cup maple syrup
  • ½ ½ teaspoon rum extract optional

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Combine the ingredients in a small pot over medium heat. Bring it to a simmer and then continue to simmer for 5 minutes, until the syrup reduces to 1 cup.
  2. Let the syrup cool slightly then transfer it to a jar and store it in your fridge for up to a week.
