Ingredients

  • 1 cup water (or almond milk)
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/4 avocado
  • 1 cup Mango frozen
  • 1/2 inch ginger peeled (optional; add to taste, fresh
  • 1 big handful spinach fresh baby
  • 1/2 teaspoon matcha powder

Instructions

  1. Combine all of the ingredients in a high-speed blender, and blend until smooth. Add more water, if needed to blend, and taste it before you serve. You can always add a squeeze of honey or a pitted date for more sweetness, if needed.

Notes

  • Store leftover smoothie in an airtight container refrigerated for up to 24 hours or freeze in popsicle molds for later.
  • Using frozen fruit results in a thick, ice-cream-like texture; reduce liquid if using fresh fruit to avoid a runny consistency.
