Energizing Matcha Smoothie
This Energizing Matcha Smoothie combines water or almond milk with frozen banana, avocado, frozen mango, spinach, fresh ginger, and matcha powder for a creamy, thick smoothie. Ingredients
- 1 cup water (or almond milk)
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/4 avocado
- 1 cup Mango frozen
- 1/2 inch ginger peeled (optional; add to taste, fresh
- 1 big handful spinach fresh baby
- 1/2 teaspoon matcha powder
Instructions
- Combine all of the ingredients in a high-speed blender, and blend until smooth. Add more water, if needed to blend, and taste it before you serve. You can always add a squeeze of honey or a pitted date for more sweetness, if needed.
Notes
- Store leftover smoothie in an airtight container refrigerated for up to 24 hours or freeze in popsicle molds for later.
- Using frozen fruit results in a thick, ice-cream-like texture; reduce liquid if using fresh fruit to avoid a runny consistency.
