Energizing Matcha Smoothie

This Energizing Matcha Smoothie combines water or almond milk with frozen banana, avocado, frozen mango, spinach, fresh ginger, and matcha powder for a creamy, thick smoothie. The ingredients provide a balance of sweetness, creaminess, and earthy green tea flavor. Its consistency is smooth and slightly thick, offering a refreshing boost of nutrients and energy.

Description

Prepared by blending water or almond milk with frozen banana, avocado, frozen mango, fresh baby spinach, a small amount of peeled ginger, and matcha powder, this smoothie delivers creamy texture and vibrant flavor. The frozen fruits give it an ice-cream-like thickness, while the avocado adds richness. Matcha powder contributes a mild, grassy bitterness and antioxidants. Fresh ginger adds a subtle zing, complemented by the spinach’s mild greens.

The ingredients are simply combined in a high-speed blender and blended until smooth. Adjusting the liquid amount can change the thickness to personal preference. Honey or dates can be added for additional sweetness if desired, making it customizable for taste.

Leftover smoothie can be stored in the refrigerator for about 24 hours or frozen into popsicles for later consumption. This flexibility makes it convenient for preparing ahead or enjoying as a refreshing snack anytime.
