Fish Tikka

Serve this delicious fish tikka recipe over chapatis or naan bread to make this speedy Indian-inspired supper. This fish tikka is juicy, moist, and so flavourful.

Ingredients

  • 500 g fish Cod
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp garlic paste
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • ½ tsp crushed chillies
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder Haldi
  • 1 tsp Kashmiri Chilli
  • 1 tsp carom seeds Ajwain

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Make sure to pat the fish dry and there is no water in the fish
  2. In a bowl add all the ingredients to the fish chunks and mix until well combined
  3. Set aside and leave to marinate for at least 30 minutes
  4. Once ready to cook preheat the oven to 240°C (465°F) gas mark 9 and skewer the fish chunks and place on a roasting tray
  5. Roast the fish for 8-10 minutes until cooked through
  6. Serve immediately with a side of naan bread and enjoy!
