Flatbread Pizza

Ingredients
- 2 flatbread 6 to 8 inches in diameter, pre-made
- 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
- onion powder to taste
- garlic powder to taste
- oregano to taste, dried
- red pepper flakes to taste, crushed
- 2 tomatoes thinly sliced, small
- 4 ounces mozzarella cheese sliced, fresh
- 8 basil plus more for garnish, fresh leaves
- salt to taste
- black pepper fresh ground, to taste
- balsamic vinegar for drizzling (optional)
Instructions
- Heat the oven to 425°F.
- Brush or rub the olive oil over the flatbreads. Sprinkle onion powder, garlic powder, dried oregano, and crushed red pepper flakes over the oil.
- Layer the sliced tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil leaves on the flatbreads. Season with salt and fresh ground pepper.
- Bake the flatbread pizzas until the cheese is bubbling and turning light brown in spots, about 10 to 15 minutes.
- Serve the pizzas immediately. Drizzle with balsamic vinegar or olive oil and sprinkle torn basil leaves on top for garnish.
