Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups avocado
- 3 eggs , lightly beaten
- 1/2 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons butter , melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 9×9 square baking dish with parchment paper and coat with cooking spray.
- Place avocados and 1 egg in a blender or food processor, blending and scraping the sides until a paste forms.
- Add one egg at a time, blending between additions.
- Add honey, melted butter, vanilla extract and almond extract, blending well and scraping down the sides.
- Add in cocoa powder, baking powder and salt, blending one more time.
- Pour batter into prepared baking dish. Top with chocolate chips.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the center passes the toothpick test.
- Cool completely before cutting into 9 brownies.
