French Onion Soup Rice
This baked rice recipe is perfectly creamy with the addition of cheese! It's super hands off and perfect for an easy side dish.

Ingredients
- 1 cup uncooked long grain white rice not instant rice
- 10.5 ounce can condensed French Onion Soup
- 10 ounces beef broth
- 4 tablespoons butter cut into cubes
- 1/2 cup shredded gruyere cheese
- minced parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- Add the rice, onion soup, and broth to a 9x9 baking dish.
- Slice the butter into pats and place on top of the rice.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking for 30 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle the cheese evenly over the top and let sit for 5 minutes. Stir to combine and sprinkle with the parsley before serving.

Notes
- Be sure to use long grain white rice for this recipe. Instant rice and brown rice will not work.
- The cheese is totally optional, but we love the creaminess it adds to the rice.
