Ingredients

  • 4 figs halved
  • 1 dates can use 2 if using small dates
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 1 cup milk chilled

Instructions

  1. Place the figs, dates, almond butter and milk in the blender. Blend until smooth. Enjoy immediately.

Notes

  • Colder smoothie: If you would like a colder smoothie, freeze the figs before using in the recipe. 
  • No fresh figs: If fresh figs are not available, buy frozen figs. You can also use dried figs. If they are too hard, soak them in water for some time before blending.
  • Vegan Variation: To make this fig smoothie vegan, use almond milk.
