Ingredients

  • 1 cup mangoes or 2 medium-sized mangoes, peeled and roughly chopped, ripe, sweet
  • ¾ cup yogurt chilled, fresh, thick, whole-milk, curd
  • ½ cup milk (chilled)
  • 2 tablespoon sugar or to taste
  • cardamom optional, freshly crushed, a pinch

Instructions

  1. Put mango and sugar together in a blender and blend until the mixture combines.
  2. Add yogurt, milk, and crushed cardamom if adding. Blend again until the mixture turns smooth. or you can blend all the ingredients together.
  3. Pour the lassi in the serving glasses, garnish with your choice of dry fruits or chopped mangoes, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use ripe, fiberless mangoes for the best texture and sweetness.
  • Choose thick, fresh, full-fat yogurt to achieve the authentic creamy consistency.
  • Chilled curd and milk help keep the drink cool without diluting the flavors; ice cubes may be added if desired.
