Fresh Mango Margarita

You’re going to love this easy mango margarita on the rocks for a summer cocktail! Made from fresh mangoes it’s naturally sweet (with no need for added sugar), and thirst quenching.

Ingredients

  • 2 large mangoes peeled and diced
  • ½ cup fresh orange juice
  • ¼ cup fresh lime juice
  • 1 cup tequila
  • ⅓ cup orange liqueur Cointreau or similar
  • Margarita salt to rim the glasses
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Blend. Add the diced mango, orange juice, lime juice, tequila and orange liqueur to a blender. Blend until smooth.
  2. Salt the glass. Slice a lime into wedges and rub one wedge on the rim of a glass. Dip the glass upside down in the salt.
  3. Pour and serve. Fill the glass full of ice and pour the mango margarita on top. Stir and garnish with a lime wedge and enjoy.

  • This recipe is meant to be “on the rocks,” meaning, it should be slowly sipped with the ice melting, which dilutes the alcohol a smidge. In other words, this mango margarita is quite boozy, so feel free to adjust the alcohol.
