Fried Cheese Balls with Parmesan
Fried Cheese Balls with Parmesan are small, crispy golden spheres made from a mixture of egg whites, grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper. Each ball is breaded using a classic three-step coating method: flour, egg yolk, and panko breadcrumbs, then fried in sunflower oil until they develop a crunchy exterior while remaining soft and cheesy inside. These warm bites offer a nutty, salty flavor from the Parmesan and a satisfying crunch from the breadcrumb crust.
Ingredients
- 2 egg white
- 200 g Parmesan Cheese grated
- salt
- black pepper
- sunflower oil for frying
For the breading:
- flour
- 2 egg yolk
- panko breadcrumbs
Instructions
- Place all the ingredients in a bowl, mix together, and shape into balls.
For the breading:
- In three separate bowls, place the flour, the egg yolks, and the panko. Bread the parmesan balls dipping them first in the flour, then in the egg yolk, and finally in the panko.
- Fry over medium heat until they turn golden.
- Serve the parmesan balls warm.
Notes
- Fry the cheese balls over low heat to ensure they cook thoroughly inside without burning the crust.
