Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 3 cups corn flakes cereal , crushed
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 9 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 4 cups Whipped Cream
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 12 Maraschino cherries , with stem

Instructions

  1. To a small saucepan, add butter, corn flakes, and cinnamon.
  2. Stir often, for 6-8 minutes or until Corn Flakes brown.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the sugar.
  4. Add half the cornflakes to the 9x13 baking dish in an even layer.
  5. Scoop the vanilla ice cream over the cornflake mixture.
  6. Using a knife or offset spatula, spread the ice cream evenly.
  7. Top with the remaining corn flake mixture.
  8. Cover and freeze for minimum 4 hours.
  9. Serve slices topped with whipped cream, honey, and a maraschino cherry.
