Fried Pork Sandwiches

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless pork chops thinly sliced
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup seasoned panko
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic 
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • Canola oil for frying
  • 4 hamburger buns brioche is great
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 4 large lettuce leaves
  • 1 large tomato sliced
  • 4 Red onion slices
  • dill pickle slices

Instructions

  1. Gather the ingredients needed
  2. Beat the eggs and buttermilk together in a shallow dish.
  3. Place the panko in a separate shallow dish, and in another one, combine the flour, salt, pepper, and garlic.
  4. In a large skillet, heat an inch of oil to 350°.
  5. Dredge the pork chops in the flour, then the egg and finally in the panko. Press to coat well.
  6. Fry the chops for 8 to 10 minutes until golden brown, turning once.
  7. Remove the chops and place on a rack or a paper towel.
  8. You can toast the bun or not, then spread with mayonnaise and mustard. Add the lettuce, pork chop, tomato slices, onion, and pickles.
  9. Serve with your favorite side dish.

Notes

  • These sandwiches are quick and easy to make. Lunch or dinner in 30 minutes.These are great served with chips, salad, potato salad, or fries.
