Ingredients
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
- 1/3 cup finely shredded Parmesan cheese
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 9 oz cheese ravioli thawed
- oil for frying
- marinara sauce for dipping
Instructions
- In a heavy duty skillet, heat about 1/2” of oil to 350ºF.
- Place the flour in a shallow bowl.
- In another dish, whisk the eggs.
- In a third dish, combine the bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning.
- Working in batches, dip a ravioli in the flour, lightly coating. Then dip in the egg, making sure the ravioli is coated. Last, dip in the breadcrumb mixture. Use your hands to press the breadcrumbs into the ravioli, if needed.
- Place the coated ravioli in the hot oil. Fry until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes per side. Remove to a cooling rack over a baking sheet or a paper towel lined plate. Continue with the ravioli until all are fried.
- Serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
