  2. Remove the frozen chicken patties from the package and place in the air fryer basket, making sure to leave space between them.

Notes

  • Preheating your air fryer for a few minutes before cooking will help ensure even and consistent cooking.
  • Avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket. Arrange the patties in a single layer with some space between them to allow proper air circulation.
  • Cook in batches if needed.
  • Optionally, you can lightly spray the chicken patties with cooking oil or use an oil sprayer to help them achieve that crispy, golden-brown exterior.
  • We find that they always cook perfectly but you may want to flip the patties halfway through the cooking time to ensure both sides are evenly cooked and crispy.
  • Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature of the chicken patties. They should reach 165 degrees F / 74 degrees C.
  • Feel free to season the patties with your favorite herbs and spices before cooking to add extra flavor.
  • Keep a close eye on the cooking time. Overcooking can result in dry and tough chicken patties, so follow the recommended cooking times closely.
  • Prepare some delicious dipping sauces like honey mustard, ranch, or barbecue sauce to complement the flavor of the chicken patties.
  • If you're cooking multiple batches, you can keep the cooked patties warm in a low-temperature oven while you finish the rest.
