Frozen Fruit Smoothie
This Frozen Fruit Smoothie blends frozen mixed berries with dairy-free strawberry yogurt and cashew milk to create a creamy, cold beverage. The combination yields a smooth texture and balanced fruit flavor with subtle sweetness. It can be adjusted for thickness by varying the amount of milk added during blending.
Ingredients
- 8 ounces mixed berries frozen, 1 heaping cup
- 6 ounces strawberry dairy-free yogurt or your favorite, brand Silk
- 1 cup cashew milk or your favorite milk, unsweetened, brand Silk
Instructions
- Add the fruit, yogurt, and about 1/2 cup milk to the canister of a blender or food processor. Blend on high power and drizzle in remaining milk, as needed, until desired smoothie texture and consistency is achieved. Serve immediately.
- Extra portion will keep in a freezer-safe (plastic) glass for up to 1 month in the freezer. Allow to thaw at room temp for about 1 hour before serving. Alternatively, freeze extra portion in popsicle molds.
Notes
- Fresh berries can be used instead of frozen, but you'll need to add ice to achieve a cold smoothie.
- Extra smoothie can be frozen in popsicle molds or freezer-safe containers for up to one month.
- Allow frozen smoothie portions to thaw at room temperature about one hour before serving to soften.
