Ingredients
- 1 pound (450g) uncooked frozen shrimp battered or unbattered
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F / 200 degrees C.
- Add the frozen battered or non battered shrimp directly into the air fryer basket or tray, making sure to spread them out evenly. You may have to cook in batches.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes, shaking halfway through the cooking time.
- Remove from air fryer, season, or coat with the sauce of your choice before serving.
Cup of Yum
Notes
- Make sure the shrimp are separated (not in a big clump) before cooking.
- For the best results, do not overcrowd the air fryer basket so that the hot air circulates and the shrimp cooks through.
- If your air fryer is small, you may need to cook in batches.
- No extra oil is needed for this recipe. However, you may want to lightly spritz the air fryer basket or tray with cooking spray to avoid sticking.
- Be sure to shake the basket at least once during the cook time.
- Bigger shrimp may need a little more time.
- Storage - keep leftovers in an airtight container inside the fridge for up to 3 days.
- If cooking battered/breaded shrimp, there are 8 Blue Plan SmartPoints in one serving.
- If using uncoated shrimp, there are 0 Blue Plan SmartPoints in one serving.
