Frozen Watermelon Margarita

This Frozen Watermelon Margarita is all-natural, making this cocktail sweet, slushy, and so refreshing. No need to add ice to the blender or to strain the watermelon. Just add all the ingredients to the blender and let ‘er rip.

  • Rim It. Dip the rim of your (empty!) glass in agave or run a cut lime around the edge. Dip into a plate filled with coarse salt and/or sugar mixed with fresh lime zest for a little added flavor and sparkle.
  • Spicy Watermelon Margarita - In the mood for a tongue-tingling combo? Make a frozen watermelon jalapeño margarita by tossing in ½ - 1 sliced and seeded jalapeño, or add more to taste. Add a Tajin rim for added spice!
  • Watermelon Margarita on the Rocks - Wondering how to make a watermelon margarita without having it give you a brain freeze? Not to worry. Blend unfrozen watermelon, sugar, lime juice, and a splash of water until smooth. Pour through a fine mesh strainer to remove the pulp. Pour the watermelon juice mixture over ice, add a shot of tequila, stir and serve!
  • Cube & freeze watermelon while it’s in season so you can enjoy it all year long. I tend to make these delicious watermelon mint margaritas all the way up until Halloween because I’m a true summer girl at heart.
  • The easiest way to cut a watermelon is using a trick my mom taught me. Check out this video to see it in action!
  • Have leftovers? Freeze them into boozy margarita paletas!
