Fruit Salad Dressing
Fruit Salad Dressing combines honey, orange juice, and lemon zest to create a sweet and citrusy drizzle for fresh fruit. The dressing enhances fruit flavors and can be made ahead to meld flavors before serving.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup honey (see note 1)
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1 tablespoon lemon see note 2, zest
Instructions
- In a small bowl whisk together honey, orange juice, and lemon zest. Drizzle over fruit and refrigerate for 1 hour before serving to meld flavors.
Notes
- Use just the colored zest of the lemon to avoid bitter pith.
- Leftover dressing keeps refrigerated for up to 4 days; stir or shake before reuse.
- Dressing can be prepared up to 3 days in advance for deeper flavor melding.
- Alternate sweeteners like maple syrup or agave can be substituted for honey as desired.
