Ingredients
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 tsp coriander seeds
- 1 Tbsp cumin seeds
- 1 Tbsp black peppercorns
- 1 cinnamon stick cut into small pieces
- 1 whole star anise
- 3-4 whole cloves
- ¼ tsp nutmeg grated
- 3-4 cardamon pods
- 1 tsp canola oil
Instructions
- Heat oil in pan on medium. Add all the spices and cook stirring for about 3-4 minutes.
- Remove from pan and place in spice grinder. Grind to a fine powder.
- Store in a jar in a cool dry place, e.g. your pantry.
