Garlic Bok Choy

My sauteed Garlic Bok Choy is a healthy, flavorful and easy vegetable side dish that only takes 10 minutes to make from start to finish.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds baby bok choy
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic , minced
  • 2 tablespoon low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon white sesame seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Quarter the baby bok choy and add to a large bowl.
  2. Soak in water, shaking to remove any dirt between the leaves, then drain well and pat dry with a clean kitchen towel or paper towels.
  3. Add vegetable oil and sesame oil to a large heavy skillet on medium heat.
  4. Add in garlic, stir and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Add in bok choy, stir to coat.
  6. Cook for 3 minutes, flip, and cook for 3 minutes.
  7. Add in soy sauce, sesame seeds and crushed red pepper flakes, stir to coat.
  8. Cover and cook for 2 minutes then serve.
