Ingredients

  • 2 pound salmon filet , deboned
  • 4 tablespoons butter melted, unsalted
  • 4 cloves garlic , minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper coarse ground

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees and line baking pan with foil, large enough to close tightly over salmon without touching it.
  2. Add the filet to the foil, skin side down.
  3. Mix the butter, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a small bowl, then pour it over the salmon.
  4. Close the foil tightly over the salmon.
  5. Cook for 15-18 minutes, then carefully open the foil (be careful, steam will escape).
