Ingredients
- ½ cup butter cubed, unsalted
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 shallot diced, medium
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes crushed
- 1 ½ pounds Shrimp peeled and deveined, medium
- salt to taste, Kosher salt and freshly ground
- black pepper to taste, Kosher salt and freshly ground
- 3 tablespoons parsley chopped fresh leaves
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
- 2 teaspoons lemon zest
Instructions
- Melt butter in a large cast iron skillet over medium heat. Add garlic, shallot and red pepper flakes, and cook, stirring frequently, until fragrant, about 2 minutes.
- Add shrimp; season with salt and pepper, to taste. Cook, stirring occasionally, until pink and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in parsley, lemon juice and lemon zest.
- Serve immediately.
