Garlic Butter Steak Bites

Tender, juicy, and full of flavor, these Garlic Butter Steak Bites are an amazing appetizer!

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds sirloin steak or strip loin or ribeye
  • salt and black pepper or steak spice, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon fresh Rosemary or ½ teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil or as needed
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Cut steak into bite-sized pieces. Toss with salt, pepper, and fresh rosemary.
  2. Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add 1 tablespoon vegetable oil.
  3. Add steak in a single layer and cook 2-3 minutes without stirring to get a crust on one side. Stir and cook 1 minute more. Do not overcook.
  4. Remove from heat and place on a plate. Reduce heat in the skillet to medium.
  5. Add butter and garlic, cook 1 minute until fragrant. Add steak and parsley. Toss to combine.
  6. Remove from the pan immediately, season with salt if desired and serve warm.

Notes

  • Cook steak bites in batches if needed. If the pan is overcrowded, you won't get a good crust.
  • Vegetable oil is used in place of olive oil as it has a higher smoke point.
