Ingredients
- 4 Tablespoons salted butter
- 1 Tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound cremini or white button mushrooms about 20-24
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme
- 2 Tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 3-4 cloves garlic minced
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- Melt the butter with the oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
- Add the mushrooms and cook for 4 minutes without stirring. Stir, then let cook another 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown, tender, and crispy on the edges.
- Add garlic, thyme, and half of the parsley. Sauté another 30-60 seconds until fragrant. Season with salt and pepper, to taste. Sprinkle with remaining parsley and serve immediately.
- Leftovers will keep in the fridge for 5 days.

Notes
- You can use 1/4 teaspoon of dried thyme instead of fresh thyme if it's not available.
