Ingredients
- 2.5 pounds Yukon gold potatoes
- Avocado oil spray
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder or to taste
- 1 tablespoon coarse kosher salt or to taste
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper or to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 450°F. Line your baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Wash and dry the potatoes thoroughly. You won't be peeling them, so be sure to remove all of the dirt.
- Cut each potato into even ½" thick wedges. Place them on the prepared baking sheet in one single layer. Make sure the potatoes are not overlapping each other.
- Spray the potatoes with avocado oil spray. Rub them around with your hands to be sure they are fully coated, even on the skin sides.
- Sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Rub them around with your hands to make sure the seasonings are spread evenly on both sides.
- Roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes.
- Turn the oven to broil. Broil the potatoes for 2-3 minutes. Keep a close eye on them to prevent burning.
- Remove the baking sheet from the oven and sprinkle with additional coarse salt if desired.
Cup of Yum
Notes
- To get the potatoes extra crispy on both sides, you can flip them halfway through cooking.
