Ingredients

  • ½ cup pickled jalapenos
  • 2 Tablespoons Pickled Jalapeno Brine from the jar
  • ¼ cup cilantro optional
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1-2 cloves garlic
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1-2 Tablespoons fresh lime juice

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in a food processor or blender and pulse until smooth, scraping the sides as needed. Add salt if desired; since the brine is salty, be sure to taste test first.
  2. Store it in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week to enjoy on tacos, burrito bowls, salads, and more!

Notes

  • Fresh Jalapenos: use 1/4 cup fresh jalapeno slices, seeds removed. Substitute the brine with 1 1/2 tablespoons white distilled vinegar.
