Ingredients

  • ½ cup water
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ Tablespoon almond extract

Instructions

  1. In a small or medium saucepan, whisk together water and sugar over medium-high heat. Bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally until sugar is completely dissolved. The liquid should be clear. Remove from heat.
  2. Stir in the almond extract. Allow to cool or use immediately. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks and use in your favorite beverages or recipes as desired.

Notes

  • This recipe makes approximately 3/4 cups. You can easily double it!
