Ingredients
- 1 cup flour gluten free 1 to 1 flour or all purpose flour
- ½ cup butter room temperature
- ½ cup light brown sugar tightly packed
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp milk
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- pinch sea salt
- ⅓ cup mini chocolate chips
Instructions
- First, heat treat the flour. Spread flour onto a parchment lined baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 5 to 7 minutes.
- In a stand mixer, beat butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar for 2 minutes or until no clumps of butter remain.
- Add in heat treated flour, milk, vanilla and sea salt. Stir until combined.
- Next, fold in mini chocolate chips.
- Roll dough between hands into bite sized balls.
- Finally, serve immediately or refrigerate.

Notes
- Both gluten free 1 to 1 flour and all purpose flour work well.
- Heat treat flour to remove any harmful bacteria.
- Beat butter and sugars until no clumps of butter remain.
- Regular sized chocolate chips work well too.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 7 days.
- These freeze well!
