Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3 inches fresh ginger chunk

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Peel a 3 inch chunk of ginger and add to a pot on the stove.
  2. Add 1/2 cup of honey and 1/2 cup of water to the pot.
  3. Bring to a boil.
  4. Remove from stove, strain and place in an airtight container in the fridge to cool.

Notes

  • If you want a stronger ginger flavor, leave the chunk of ginger in the airtight container in the fridge overnight instead of removing it and then remove in the morning.
  • You can also sub in sugar instead of honey if desired (although it doesn't work quite as well).
