Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp ground ginger
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/4 tsp ground allspice
  • 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/8 tsp ground cardamom (optional)

  1. Mix everything and store in an airtight container. Keeps for months.

Notes

  • The spice flavor comes out stronger with additional ginger int he recipe such as candied ginger or with brown sugar or molasses
