Ingredients

  • ¾ cup orange juice
  • 1 orange zested
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 12 ounce bag cranberries rinsed and drained
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan over high heat, bring the orange juice, orange zest, sugar, and salt to a boil.
  2. Add the cranberries and bring the mixture back to a boil.
  3. Reduce the heat to medium and simmer for 5-6 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly and about ⅔ of the cranberries have popped open.
  4. Stir in the cinnamon.
  5. Transfer the cranberry sauce to a serving bowl, let it cool to room temperature, and serve or chill until you are ready to serve.
  6. Enjoy!
