Ingredients
- ¾ cup orange juice
- 1 orange zested
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 12 ounce bag cranberries rinsed and drained
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan over high heat, bring the orange juice, orange zest, sugar, and salt to a boil.
- Add the cranberries and bring the mixture back to a boil.
- Reduce the heat to medium and simmer for 5-6 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly and about ⅔ of the cranberries have popped open.
- Stir in the cinnamon.
- Transfer the cranberry sauce to a serving bowl, let it cool to room temperature, and serve or chill until you are ready to serve.
