Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 tbsp tapioca flour
  • 2 cups broth or pan drippings
  • 1 tsp fresh Rosemary
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp Coconut aminos  optional
  • fresh thyme optional garnish

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. First, melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Once melted, add in the tapioca flour. Use a whisk to constantly stir for about 3 minutes, creating a thick roux.
  2. Then, pour in the broth (or pan drippings). Allow this mixture to come to a low boil. Boil for 1 minute, or until gravy has reached your desired thickness. Whisk constantly. The longer it boils, the thicker it will become.
  3. Remove the pan from the heat. Stir in the seasonings and the coconut aminos.
  4. Finally, serve. Add fresh thyme if you want.
