Gochujang Noodles with Bacon and Scallions

Ingredients

  • 10 oz Spaghetti or noodles of choice
  • 5 trips Bacon cut into ½ inches
  • 4 talks green onions sliced
  • 1 medium yellow onion sliced
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp garlic
  • 2 tbsp Gochujang
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tsp dark soy sauce optional

Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of water to a boil and add in your pasta when ready. Cooking until al dente (see your pasta container for instructions). When done, set aside and reserve half a cup of pasta water.
  2. While the pasta is cooking, add the bacon to your pan on medium high heat. Let the bacon cook for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring often.
  3. To the pan, add in the green onions and sliced onions. Salt and stir for 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Add in the garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  5. Add in the gochujang and the soy sauces. Stir to combine.
  6. Add in a splash of pasta water and then the noodles.
  7. Stir to combine and to coat the pasta with the sauce. Top with some slice scallions if desired before serving.
