Greek Yogurt Waffles
Greek Yogurt Waffles use a batter of eggs, milk, Greek yogurt, honey, flour, baking powder, and salt to create waffles with a tender crumb and subtle tang from the yogurt. Cooking on a waffle iron produces golden, crisp edges alongside a soft interior. These waffles are suitable for breakfast or brunch when homemade with simple pantry ingredients.
Ingredients
- 2 large egg
- 1 3/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup yogurt plain, Greek
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 1/2 tablespoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
Instructions
- In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, yogurt and honey. Whisk for at least a couple of minutes until it is well combined and bubbly.
- Add in the baking powder, salt and flour and stir until well combined.
- Cook on a heated waffle iron until golden brown.
Notes
- Leftover batter keeps in the fridge for up to one week in an airtight container for easy waffle-making later.
