Grilled Argentinian Choripan Chorizo Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 5 Argentinian Style Chorizo Sausages
  • 1 Cup chimichurri sauce
  • 1 french baguette Cut into 3-4 inch sections
  • Salsa criolla optional

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Heat a grill over medium heat (about 350 degrees F).
  2. grill the chorizo sausages for about 10-15 minutes flipping about every 4 minutes. Grill until the sausages are browned and cooked though (internal temperature of at least 160 degrees). Take care not to overcook.
  3. Warm or toast the baguette in an oven or on the grill and cut the bread pieced lengthwise.
  4. Remove the sausages from the grill and slice in half lengthwise.
  5. Place the sliced chorizo on the baguette slices and top with chimichurri and/or salsa criolla.
  6. Enjoy while warm with a glass of Malbec.
