Grilled Caprese French Bread Pizza

Grilled Caprese French Bread Pizza will become your new favorite summer recipe! It's topped with juicy grilled tomatoes, creamy mozzarella cheese and fresh basil pesto. Slice it into bites for an appetizer or large slices for a seriously delicious meal!

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf French bread
  • ½ cup basil pesto
  • 16 oz fresh mozzarella cheese sliced
  • 3 large tomatoes sliced thick
  • 12 basil leaves
  • 4 tsp Balsamic reduction

Instructions

  1. Slice the french bread in half lengthwise. Spread ¼ cup of basil pesto on each half and top with the sliced mozzarella.
  2. Place on a grill over medium heat, along with the tomatoes.
  3. Grill both for 4-6 minutes. 
  4. Remove from the grill, place the tomatoes on top of the cheese, along with the basil leaves. 
  5. Drizzle with the balsamic reduction and serve immediately.

Notes

  • I recommend grilling the tomatoes on non-stick foil.
