Grilled Caprese Panino

Grilled caprese panino has pesto, tomatoes and gooey mozzarella cheese.

Ingredients

  • 2 lices Rustic bread or sour dough
  • 2 lices mozzarella cheese
  • 2 Tablespoons pesto homemade or store-bought
  • 2 lices tomato fresh
  • 3 Tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Brush both sides of bread with olive oil, (inside and outside)
  2. Spread pesto on insides of both slices.
  3. Add slices of cheese and tomatoes.
  4. Press between a panini press or in a hot pan, pressing down. Flip sandwich and continue cooking until cheese is melted and bread is toasted.
