Ingredients

  • 6 ears of corn husks removed
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Remove the husks and silk from each ear of corn. Brush each ear of corn with oil.
  2. Heat the grill to between 300 to 350°F. Carefully place each ear of corn on the hot grill grates and close the cover.
  3. Cook for 2-3 minutes, then use tongs to rotate the ears ¼ turn. Cover again and continue to cook, rotating the corn a quarter turn every three minutes until cooked on all sides.
  4. Remove from the grill and serve immediately with salted butter, salt, and pepper, for seasoning.

  • Store: Wrap each ear in plastic wrap or aluminum foil, then place in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Freeze: Remove corn kernels and place them in a freezer-safe bag, removing as much air as possible, and store in the freezer for up to 3 months.
  • Reheat: Place in a microwave-safe dish, cover with a damp paper towel, and microwave for 1-2 minutes, or reheat on the grill.
