Grilled Lamb Chops Recipe
Grilled Lamb Chops marinated with olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, cilantro, oregano, and seven spice blend deliver tender, flavorful meat with a mild char from the grill. Ingredients
- 2 lb lamb chops about 8 pieces
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 6 cloves garlic minced
- 1 lemon juice of
- 1/4 cup cilantro chopped
- 1 1/2 tsp oregano
- 2 tsp seven spice
- 1 tsp kosher salt
Instructions
- In a bowl mix the olive oil, garlic, lemon, cilantro, oregano and seven spice. Add in the lamb chops and mix to make sure all pieces are coated with the marinade.
- Cover the bowl and marinate for 30 minutes up to 2 hours.
- Preheat the grill to medium high. Take the lamb chops out of the fridge, season with salt and let them to come to room temperature.
- When the grill is ready, place the lamb chops on the grates and grill for about 3 minutes on each side for medium. If you prefer medium well, grill for 4 minutes on each side.
Notes
- Grill lamb chops to medium for best tenderness; medium well can be chewier.
- Make or buy seven spice seasoning based on preference and availability.
- Marinated lamb chops can be frozen up to 3 months; thaw overnight in refrigerator before grilling.
- Let chops come to room temperature before grilling for even cooking.
