Grilled Lemon Garlic Scallops
Grilled Lemon Garlic Scallops is an eloquent dish marinated in the juices of a lemon, hint of garlic, wrapped in olive oil with Italian seasonings all grilled to perfection! So simple to make and ready in minutes!
Ingredients
- 1 pound scallops
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice or the juice of 1 lemon, fresh
- 3 teaspoons garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- salt to taste
- black pepper to taste, ground
Instructions
- Combine ¼ cup olive oil , 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice, 3 teaspoons minced garlic, and 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning in a medium bowl.
- Season 1 pound scallops with salt and ground black pepper. Add them to the bowl with the marinade and toss to coat. Cover the bowl and place it in the microwave to marinate for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the grill or a grill plate to medium-high heat. Grease the grates and place the scallops on the grill. Cook them on each side for about 2 minutes until they are cooked through and have a slight char. Remove them from the grill and serve immediately.
