- 1 teaspoon oil
- 4 nectarines
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoons brown sugar
To serve (optional):
- vanilla ice cream
- maple syrup
- Chopped hazelnuts
Instructions
- Heat a barbecue or grill pan and lightly oil it.
- Cut the nectarines in half and remove the stones.
- Mix the maple syrup and vanilla, then brush all over the nectarines. Sprinkle the cut sides with the brown sugar.
- Place the nectarines, cut side down, on the grill and cook until charred, then flip and cook the other side.
- Serve over ice cream, drizzled with a little maple syrup and sprinkled with hazelnuts.
