Grilled Pork Kabobs

A quick recipe made with marinaded pork loin filet, bacon, pineapple, onions and peppers for an easy dinner that will be on the table in about 30 minutes!

Ingredients

  • 2.5 pound Smithfield Applewood Bacon Loin Filet
  • 2 bell peppers red, yellow or orange
  • 1 large onion
  • 8 ounces Bacon
  • 1 pineapple

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill.
  2. Take the Smithfield Applewood Bacon Loin Filet out of the package and cut into cubes 3/4 of an inch to an inch in size.
  3. Cut the bell peppers and onion into 1 inch pieces. Dice the bacon into 1 inch sections. Core and peel the pineapple and cut it into 1 inch cubes.
  4. Alternate the pork, bacon, peppers, onion and pineapple on skewers until all the pieces are used up.
  5. Grill the skewers on your grill for about 20 minutes until the pork is done, turning the skewers once halfway through the cooking time.

Notes

  • Cooking time might vary depending on your grill. The pork should reach 145F and the bacon should look done.
  • If you use wooden skewers you will need to soak them in water for 30 minutes before adding the ingredients to the skewers. Or just save time and use metal skewers!
