Ingredients

  • 1 package 14.3 oz Oreo cookies
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 ½ cups green candy melts or white chocolate with green food coloring
  • Red candy hearts or edible glitter for decoration (optional)

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. In a food processor, crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese until well combined.
  3. Roll the Oreo mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Refrigerate the balls for at least 1 hour to set.
  5. Once chilled, melt the green candy melts according to the package instructions (or melt white chocolate and add green food coloring).
  6. Dip each Oreo ball into the green candy coating, ensuring it's fully covered.
  7. Place the coated Oreo balls back on the parchment paper. While the coating is still wet, press a red candy heart or edible glitter into the center of each ball to resemble the Grinch’s heart.
  8. Allow the balls to set completely before serving.

Notes

  • Make sure the Oreo balls are well-chilled before dipping to avoid the coating melting or sliding off.
  • For a more festive look, add green sprinkles or drizzle extra melted candy over the top.
  • If you don’t have candy melts, white chocolate chips work as a substitute. Just add green food coloring for the Grinch look.
  • These Oreo balls can be stored in the fridge for up to 1 week.
  • You can make them ahead of time for parties or as holiday gifts.
  • If you prefer, you can skip the red candy heart and simply add a festive drizzle of red icing instead.
