Ingredients
- 1 Tablespoon olive oil
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 8 oz can tomato sauce
- 1 Tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- ½ Tablespoon smoked paprika
- ½ Tablespoon chili powder
- ½ teaspoon cumin
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Add the olive oil and ground turkey meat to a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the turkey, breaking it up with a wooden spoon, until the meat is cooked through, about 10 minutes. Drain off the extra fat.
- Add the tomato sauce, apple cider vinegar, smoked paprika, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt and pepper to the pan. Give everything a good stir and simmer for an additional 5-10 minutes to let the flavors combine.
- Serve this seasoned ground turkey on tacos, a salad or a rice bowl with your favorite toppings.
