Ingredients

  • 4 ounces cranberry juice or pomegranate juice
  • 4 ounces sparkling white wine
  • 2 tsp grenadine
Bloody Rim
  • 1 tbsp light corn syrup
  • 3 drops red gel food coloring

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Make the bloody rim on your flutes
  2. Mix the corn syrup and red food coloring together on a small plate until the syrup is completely colored.
  3. Dip the rims of the champagne flute into the red corn syrup, give it a spin so the flutes grab an excess amount of it. When you flip it right-side-up, the corn syrup will begin dripping down the glass.
  4. Make the Mimosa
  5. Fill your flutes with equal parts juice and sparkling wine, then top with the grenadine.
  6. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • To make a big batch of mimosas, simply multiply it by parts. You want equal parts wine and juice with 1/12 part grenadine.
