Instructions
First, Prep Your Ingredients:
- Cover a cutting board or cookie sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. When fully coated, place pretzels on the baking sheet.
- Place the each color of candy melts in a separate microwave safe bowl. Heat one bowl at a time for 20 seconds and stir. Continue microwaving in 20 second intervals, stirring between, until melted and smooth.
How to Make Pumpkin Pretzels:
- Dip each pretzel twist in melted orange chocolate or orange candy melts. You can use a fork for this, a candy dipping tool (like shown in the photos) or even chopsticks.
- While the chocolate coating is still wet, press the green chocolate chip onto the top of the pretzel. As the chocolate dries, it will hold the "pumpkin stem" in place.
How to Make Mummy Pretzels:
- Dip each pretzel into melted white chocolate and turn until fully coated.
- Place on lined baking sheet and drizzle more melted white chocolate on top. Press two candy eyeballs into the damp chocolate coating.
How to Make Halloween Monster Pretzels:
- Coat each pretzel in melted lime green candy melts. You could also use other fun colors like purple or hot pink!
- Place the candy coated pretzels on a lined baking sheet to dry. While the coating is still wet, press a candy eyeball on top of each one.

- Prep Tips
- Drying Time - Allow the pretzels to dry completely before serving or storing. This can take 30 minutes to and hour, but you can also speed up the process by placing the baking sheet in the freezer for 10-15 minutes.
- Storage - You don't need to refrigerate your chocolate covered pretzels. The cold temperatures in the fridge can actually cause condensation that may negatively affect the candy coating. Simply store your candy coated pretzels in an airtight container at room temperature. Be sure to keep it away from any heat or light sources, to prevent melting. They should stay good for a week or two at least since the pretzels are fully covered in chocolate.
