Halloween Sangria

Halloween Sangria is a festive punch combining red wine or grape juice with apple cider, pomegranate or cranberry juice, and optional brandy. Frozen fruit chills the drink, while topping it with ginger ale or club soda adds fizz. Lychee fruit filled with blueberries serves as a thematic garnish. The mix offers a balance of fruity and tart flavors with a sparkling finish.

Description

This Halloween Sangria features a mix of red wine or a non-alcoholic alternative like red grape juice, combined with apple cider, pomegranate or cranberry juice, and optionally brandy for added depth. Frozen fruit is placed in the pitcher to chill the drink and add seasonal fruitiness. The sangria is stirred well and refrigerated if desired, or can be served immediately. Before serving, the addition of ginger ale, club soda, or a similar carbonated beverage provides a refreshing sparkle.

A distinctive decorative touch comes from lychee fruit that has been drained and peeled, then filled with frozen blueberries to resemble "eyeballs," enhancing the Halloween theme. These garnishes float atop the sangria served over ice, contributing to both presentation and flavor.

This versatile beverage caters to both alcoholic and non-alcoholic preferences by adjusting the ingredients accordingly, making it suitable for gatherings seeking a seasonal, chilled fruity drink with a festive twist.
